This small and dated Hoffman Estates home needed an update from its 1960s era style. We immediately planned for a new open concept layout that required a lot of walls to be torn down. We further opened the home by converting an exterior storage space into a welcoming family room. Custom-engineered flooring was laid in most of the home with a contrasting light, ceramic tile in the family room for easy clean up. A modern new fireplace with a wood-grain plank surround was installed to complete this small single-family home.
